Achievments
MENTORED a new employee and helped him learn and grow with in the company. This new employee was fresh from high school and new to linux and production systems. He has since installed a linux/asterisk VOIP system, implemented many web services and has become quite professional.
Handled a Credit Union CORE CONVERSION within 6 months of being hired. I had learned about the Credit Union industry, the old core system and the new core system. I played a major role in making sure everything converted properly and have been the main go to person for the new core ever since.
DEVELOPED a replacement for our third party Overdraft Protection program. With a 2 month deadline before the contract renewed, I had implemented all of the functionality and reporting of the system in use and in a more efficent manner.
While KEEPING CURRENT with what is going on in the industry I find lots of useful things such as a "Keep the Change" program another credit union was using. After bringing it up to our Executive Team, I was able to get the code from the other credit union and completely overhaul it to meet our needs and finally introduced it to our members as a successful new service.
Working closely with Executive Team, developed many programs and reports to allow the credit union to stay in compliance with current regulations and make staff work easier.
